WALK FOR WATER

The 2026 Walk for Water is set for April 28-30!
Mark your calendars to join WQRF and Brio Water Technology in stepping up for water research. Registration info is below!

This short-format steps challenge will coincide with WQA's 2026 Convention, April 28-30.  Best of all, you can walk from anywhere - whether at home, the office or if you're at Convention! We will be using an app called Pacer Health to track your steps. You can use your phone to count your steps OR connect to your favorite fitness tech device. It’s that simple! Instructions about the Pacer Health app will be sent to participants in advance of the walk.

This is an easy way to support the mission of WQRF in that YOU decide your level of participation:
  • as a donor
  • as a participant (from home, the office or Convention center) to see how many steps you can log in a day
  • as someone who is "in-it-to-win-it" and for all of the bragging rights
Get your entire office to participate and your family/friends!  This is the easiest way to make a difference for WQRF and water research.

THANK YOU, Brio Water Technology for your support of
the Water Quality Research Foundation!

Thank you to all of the Walk for Water 2025 Participants!
We collectively managed a total of 2,406,468 steps during April 22-24, 2025.

Special thanks to all of those who participated in this event!  We were happy to see all of those who participated from the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California, and virtually from all over the country.  A shout-out to Sara Bolt of Franko, Inc. for her impressive finish in first place, to George of Great Lakes International in second place, and Marcus McCormick in third place!

A final note of appreciation to Brio Water Technology for their support of the 2025 Walk for Water.

We hope to see all of you in Miami Beach, Florida, in April of 2026 at WQA's Convention!
