Student Poster Presentation Competition


The Water Quality Research Foundation (WQRF) and the American Public Health Association (APHA) Water and Health Committee are inviting current undergrad – post-graduate students interested in drinking water to participate in a competitive call for posters. 
Posters will be displayed at the annual Water Quality Association's Convention in Long Beach, California on April 22-24, 2025 .  

Poster topics must fit within either the research or public health education categories, detailed below:

Up to 10 students will be selected to share their findings, and will receive a $500 travel stipend and free convention registration to the annual  Water Quality Association's Convention in Long Beach, CA, April 22-24, 2025.   

One winner from each category will receive a $1,000 David Loveday Memorial Scholarship for continued educational expenses.

Abstract submissions are due December 30, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. CT.  
Abstracts must be emailed in a PDF format to: [email protected].

About David Loveday

​David Loveday, an accomplished political strategist who served nearly 15 years as the Water Quality Association's chief governmental advocate, passed away in 2021.  One of David’s many passions was education – there could be no better way to honor this Warrior for Water than with a scholarship program that encourages further research and education in the areas of drinking water quality.
